Project #1: Drawing in Space

Project Description/Assignment

This project is about drawing depth in space without framing it or not making look like it’s standing on surface. Im proud how it came out. 

Lateral Thinking/concept/intent

 A the time of making this project. I started painting my nails again. I drew a big very shaded nail polish splatter on my project. I didn’t want my project to be simple because it’s my first project. I really like to joke a lot and some memes can be my humor. I use a picture I found online that my friend sends a lot cause it’s funny. The meme was a realistic apple with black pupil eyes with a soft smile lips. Some people found my apple scary. I was surprised they didn’t get the memo. The people I grew up with would find it funny. I wanted to draw a mouth. So I drew a cake with a mouth because I was hungry. Then I drew an insect that was scared because I wanted to learn how to draw one. And for the last one, I drew a shoe because I already had an idea how to draw one.

Reflection

Some people suggested I should’ve shaded more on the shoe and the insect. I felt they wouldn’t grab more attention like the apple and nail polish so I kept it how it was. Im proud how it came out.
